Ultra Plank is the most adaptable of the Canexel Siding choices. It combines the easy installation of Ridgewood D-5, but can be installed vertically or horizontally. The one 12 inch plank mimics two planks of just under five inches each. Just like the other two versions it comes in nineteen colors and the nail assembly is hidden, making for a more uniform look. Most customers will find they are satisfied by the choices. All CanExel siding planks are made with hidden nail assembly, so the appearance is smooth. The planks are self aligning, so the install is quite fast. The planks are easily cleaned by power wash and come with with a 15 year limited warranty on finish and a 25 year limited warranty against damage from cracking, hails, etc. There is nothing wrong with using wood, but when an opportunity to use something stronger, easier to maintain, and longer lasting comes along, it can be hard to pass up.
